From 26 April to 1 May 2026, Florianópolis hosts the Blue Nautical Hub Brasil 2026, a platform created to connect those who drive the Ocean Economy of the nautical sector. More than an event, the Hub positions itself as a strategic meeting point between industry, commerce, services, nautical tourism, marinas, shipyards, innovation, education, investors, bodies and the public sector.

At the centre of the programme is the 3rd International Blue Economy Symposium, which takes place on 29 April, at the Hotel Castelmar Events and Conventions, bringing together international specialists, business leaders and institutional representatives. The agenda features highlights such as the international case study of the Ría de Vigo, the panel on ESG in the nautical world, the debate on blue governance and international positioning, the panel on the Mercosur agreement, tax reform and the business environment, as well as the international keynote on master planning and infrastructure planning.

On 30 April, aboard the vessel Kattamaram IV, at the Beira-Mar Norte Pier, the Hub moves from content to business generation with the B2B Meetings, structured to promote objective connections between companies in the production chain, marinas, suppliers, investors, nautical tourism, technology, government and academia. The technical visits, on 27 and 28 April, fulfil the role of practical immersion, bringing participants closer to the behind-the-scenes of marinas, shipyards and operations, with places sold out in this edition.

The week ends, on 1 May, with an international agenda of the Cofradía Europea de la Vela (CEV), at the Iate Clube Veleiros da Ilha, with an institutional and relational character, including representatives of the Parliamentary Front for the Ocean Economy of the Federal Senate and of the Ports Authority – Brazilian Navy.

Voices of the sector

For Leandro "Mané" Ferrari, president of ACATMAR, the Blue Nautical Hub Brasil represents an important step in the coordination of the sector. "The Hub was structured to bring together those who produce, those who invest, those who operate, those who regulate and those who think about the development of the Ocean Economy. It is an agenda built to generate real connection, strengthen the sector and open practical paths for new business, projects and institutional positioning."

For Sebrae/SC, the event is a strategic initiative to strengthen the Blue Economy and broaden the opportunities of the nautical sector in Santa Catarina, contributing to market access and increased competitiveness for micro and small companies. For Francisco Quiroga, Gran Maestre of the Cofradía Europea de la Vela, the Hub symbolises the strength of the sector's international connections: "We bring together people from more than 32 countries linked professionally and culturally to the sea."
