From 2 to 5 July, Marina Itajaí once again brings together some of the leading names of the Brazilian marine industry. In its fourth edition, the Marina Itajaí Boat Show 2026 expands its aim of bringing manufacturers, suppliers, buyers, investors and people interested in discovering the world of vessels closer together.
Held in an environment directly integrated with the Itajaí-Açu River, the event combines the display of boats on the water and on land, launches, technology, infrastructure, gastronomy, specialised content and sailing experiences.
More than 60 vessels and different ways to enter the nautical world
The organisers expect to gather more than 60 vessels, including jet skis, entry-level boats, launches and yachts of up to 100 feet. The diversity aims to serve both those who want to buy their first vessel and owners interested in upgrading their boat or getting to know larger models.
The event will also help visitors better understand the different ways to access the sector, including traditional purchase, boat sharing, service provision and solutions for the maintenance, operation and modernisation of boats. Confirmed exhibitors include shipyards, engine manufacturers, electronics, technology and equipment companies, floating infrastructure, accessories, specialised services, real estate and brands associated with the nautical lifestyle.
Boats on display in the water and the chance to test-drive
One of the main features of the Marina Itajaí Boat Show is the display of vessels directly on the water. More than just looking at the boats, the public will be able to step aboard some models, explore the interiors, compare projects and talk directly with shipyard representatives. There will also be the possibility of a test-drive, booked directly with the responsible brand.
Free trips bring the public closer to sailing
In partnership with the Itajaí Sailing Team, sailing trips will be offered during the four days of the show. The departures will take place at the Nautical Attractions Pier, from 1 pm to 5 pm. Another attraction will be a trip on a vessel powered exclusively by solar energy, run by the Vento Sul team of the Federal University of Santa Catarina, five-time champion of the Desafio Solar Brasil, a fully electric, silent boat with no emissions during operation.
JAQ H1 brings innovation and hydrogen to the centre of the event
One of the technological highlights will be the JAQ H1, a 36-metre Brazilian vessel developed to serve as a school boat and floating laboratory. Presented during COP30, in Belém, the project uses a fuel cell fed by low-carbon hydrogen to generate energy for the on-board hospitality systems.
During the event, the JAQ H1 will also host the debut of Náutica Talks, with conversations about innovation, sustainability, nautical tourism, economic development, the market and the Ocean Economy.
Floating shopping, World Cup, fashion and gastronomy
The floating nautical shopping area returns in an expanded version, bringing together equipment, accessories, technology, fashion, decoration and services on the water. As the event takes place during the 2026 World Cup, a large screen will be installed in an area integrated with the food court, with the "Seleção Náutica" campaign and a digital sticker totem.
On Saturday, 4 July, the FIT Fashion Show will be held, within the OH MY Fashion Experience. The food court set up on the Marina Itajaí breakwater will offer dining options with a view of the Itajaí-Açu River.
Itajaí strengthens its connection with the Ocean Economy
Holding the show in Itajaí broadens the visibility of a city deeply connected to port activity, boatbuilding, fishing, logistics, tourism and maritime services. By bringing together display, knowledge, innovation and business opportunities within a working marina, the event shows how the nautical world moves a chain made up of shipyards, suppliers, service providers, technical professionals, tourism destinations and water-related developments.
